I have a Dr Who choc mould so I melted some crayons in my melting pot. Bust out the Quickutz dies and this was the result.<div><br><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-RPWNx_waSZg/VRBeZUo7y8I/AAAAAAAABtE/vwIclr4KdCs/s640/blogger-image--469562516.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-RPWNx_waSZg/VRBeZUo7y8I/AAAAAAAABtE/vwIclr4KdCs/s640/blogger-image--469562516.jpg"></a></div></div>Sheenahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16944260985118527318noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6952359349022777983.post-32239644618929482482015-03-17T19:51:00.001+00:002015-03-17T19:51:02.036+00:00Minions, Minions everywhere!!Gosh not been on here for ever! Where does the time go? Have been crafting away but don't haven't always had a lot of time to blog hop. <div><br></div><div>Anyway, these little guys have been multiplying!</div><div><br></div><div><br></div><br><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-8YcdKJ7VFfs/VQiFmSKugbI/AAAAAAAABss/PCOoBxVeq6w/s640/blogger-image--1511536649.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-8YcdKJ7VFfs/VQiFmSKugbI/AAAAAAAABss/PCOoBxVeq6w/s640/blogger-image--1511536649.jpg"></a></div><br><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-h5iAUNwc-r4/VQiFj8tnd5I/AAAAAAAABsk/c8U0Op9Vycc/s640/blogger-image-1810079417.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-h5iAUNwc-r4/VQiFj8tnd5I/AAAAAAAABsk/c8U0Op9Vycc/s640/blogger-image-1810079417.jpg"></a></div><br><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-pAGkKErBdbI/VQiFox4a3hI/AAAAAAAABs0/ZqBaqKLHt1o/s640/blogger-image-556026142.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-pAGkKErBdbI/VQiFox4a3hI/AAAAAAAABs0/ZqBaqKLHt1o/s640/blogger-image-556026142.jpg"></a></div>Sheenahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16944260985118527318noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6952359349022777983.post-80122562999536612732013-07-17T19:49:00.001+01:002013-07-17T19:49:55.348+01:00Queen for the Day<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Another lovely day here is Falkirk - got the last of the holiday washing done and dried! Just waiting for husband to "volunteer" to put it all away, think I'll have a long wait!</span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-family: Arial;">Been busy around the house too - have spent the last few days tidying the boys' rooms. How did they manage to accumulate so much??? We have anough books to open our own library, games galore and of course a thousand other things that I can't possibly throw out (according to the boys!). We could give a toy shop a run for its money. Also took the opportunity to sort out the boys clothes - 5 bin bags to the clothes bank, I couldn't believe it (neither could husband as he had the pleasure of arriving home from work to be told they needed to be taken to the clothes bank, ha ha). Another big bag of preloved clothing is heading to my slighty younger nephew.</span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-family: Arial;">Despite all this hive of activity I managed to squeeze in some crafting (well I did have to have a break!) and today was the launch of the new fortnight challenge over at Pollycraft - the theme being <a href="http://pollycraftchallengeblog.blogspot.co.uk/">Ruby Red</a>. Well as I had some Lil Dumplings already printed out, it was a no-brainer to use the very girlie and cute "<a href="http://www.pollycraft.co.uk/lil-dumplings/">Queenie</a>":</span><br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-6_2UxpXX_U8/UebmW_jNvEI/AAAAAAAABrc/ijsAspMfdyI/s1600/003.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="376" iya="true" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-6_2UxpXX_U8/UebmW_jNvEI/AAAAAAAABrc/ijsAspMfdyI/s400/003.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<br />
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">The papers are one of the lovely MME pads "Market" - I loved the crowns. Teamed it up with some mulberry flowers and gems. The sentiment was cut from one of the papers in the pad. Due to my dodgy photography skills you can't see the glamour dust I used on her wings or the glossy accents on her crown.</span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-family: Arial;">Well off for a lie down now - exhausted!!!!</span><br />

It was fantastic - the weather was glorious which makes such a difference, not that I have a tan, Factor 50 all the way for me!! There were no cries of "I'm bored" from the boys so that means it was a success. Now just working my way through loads of washing and trying to find space for the extra things we brought back.</span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-family: Arial;">Anyway, this little card is making it's way by the skin of it's teeth to this week's <a href="http://pollycraftchallengeblog.blogspot.co.uk/">Pollycraft Challenge</a> which closes later today. The theme was </span><span style="font-family: Arial;"><a href="http://pollycraftchallengeblog.blogspot.co.uk/">Stars and Stripes</a> and after a dig about the paper stash this is what I came up with:</span><br />
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-URzDjxjwdlA/UeUG1snhsPI/AAAAAAAABrM/O7HRdKtQeDA/s1600/002.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="268" iya="true" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-URzDjxjwdlA/UeUG1snhsPI/AAAAAAAABrM/O7HRdKtQeDA/s400/002.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<br />
<span style="font-family: Arial;">Have used "<a href="http://www.pollycraft.co.uk/lil-dumplings/">Brains</a>" from Lil Dumplings - a total snip at £1.49! He also has lots of little friends which are too cute for words! The papers are Fancy Pants "Off to School" and I thought they went so well with Brains. The little sentiment is hanging from a piece of acetate and is cute from one of the FP papers and the little apple is a Quickutz die cut (haven't used them for ages, forgot what great shapes I had - not to self: must use them more!) Finished off with a few gems and jobs a good 'un! </span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-family: Arial;">Paula's also running this fab offer until 18 July:</span><br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://www.pollycraft.co.uk/" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="210" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-CWRXFL6rOgs/UeA9LQurJ7I/AAAAAAAAE0c/Zu02AnC_MYw/s320/gamesetmatch.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none;">
<br /></div>
<span style="font-family: Arial;">Well better be off - the washing machine calls!!!</span><br />

June has been a manic month for me - lots of things going on at school for the boys and I so the days have just whizzed by. We have a day and a half until our summer hols starts - hoorah!!!!</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">The other thing that's kept me busy is organising gifts for the boys' teachers - it's a minefield! You want to get something that says thank you for all you've done for my hooligans but not anything overboard but at the same time nothing stingy. Luckily as a secondary teacher I get bugger all from my students - I might get a "have a nice holiday" if I'm lucky ha ha.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">I also like to give something to my hard working colleagues for putting up with me for another year and it does usually involve something alcoholic (although the bottle I've used in the pictures isn't!). Along came Pollycraft's Paula with her cute "<a href="http://www.pollycraft.co.uk/">Lil Dumplings</a>" and I knew exactly what I was going to do - make bottle labels. These were perfect for that summer holiday feeling we have at the minute and just teamed it up with some fab summery American Craft papers and a few charms. Caution - picture heavy!</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">I would like to enter these into the brand new <a href="http://pollycraftchallengeblog.blogspot.co.uk/">Pollycraft Challenges</a> which has a first challenge of "Anything Goes". Although you do not have to use a Pollycraft image to enter the Pollycraft Challenges, if you do Paula has launched a fabulous "<a href="http://pollycraftchallengeblog.blogspot.co.uk/p/craft-for-credit.html">Craft for Credit</a>" scheme where you get £0.30 credit every time you enter a challenge (one credit per challenge) with a Pollycraft image. </span><br />
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Gosh, I've tired myself out with this mammoth post!!</span><br />

</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Well hopefully this has posted while I'm at school - we change timetable before our summer holiday at the start of July so tomorrow is a teacher training day getting ready for the change. The Scottish education system has been having quite an overhaul with the introduction of National 4 and National 5 qualifications under "Curriculum for Excellence" and it has required lots of new courses to be rewritten so it's all go at school!</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Anyway here is a little card which I am entering into this week's <a href="http://sweetstopsketches.blogspot.co.uk/">The Sweet Stop Sketch Challenge</a>:</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-6O8choVavGw/Uayf_DtvyaI/AAAAAAAABp8/ggHvBcuhxPc/s1600/002.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-6O8choVavGw/Uayf_DtvyaI/AAAAAAAABp8/ggHvBcuhxPc/s400/002.JPG" width="382" /></a></div>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">This is Pippa from the Candfloss Crew over at <a href="http://www.pollycraft.co.uk/">Pollycraft</a> - the thing I love about using digis is that you can print them out any size you like which allowed me to chop a bit off Pippa for this sketch (sounds a bit painful doesn't it???!) The papers are American Crafts "Shoreline" and the stickers are from American Crafts as well. There is some stickles on there and the flowers and gems were in my stash.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Thanks for visiting!</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Sheena xx</span>Sheenahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16944260985118527318noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6952359349022777983.post-57929314321866985792013-06-03T14:45:00.001+01:002013-06-03T14:45:22.603+01:00Mr Fix It<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Good afternoon - I'm enjoying a day off school today due to a local holiday (the boys are still at school though) so it's been very peaceful and quiet. It's also my youngest's 7th birthday today - where does the time go??</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Now, my dad is of an age where if you needed any diy done you did it yourself so this card is very appropriate (although Mr Fix It's overall's are far too clean!). If you say to my dad that you've seen something in the shop his usual reply is "don't buy it, I could make it!".</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-vSH7MGM05Ak/UaycRRuNO1I/AAAAAAAABps/0hB8xjXuf-8/s1600/001.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="395" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-vSH7MGM05Ak/UaycRRuNO1I/AAAAAAAABps/0hB8xjXuf-8/s400/001.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">So this fella is another image from the relaunched <a href="http://www.pollycraft.co.uk/">Pollycraft</a> and is of course called Mr Fix It. The papers are Prima's "Craftsman" which I thought was appropriate. The little hammer and wrench charms, twine and binding were in my stash and the round sentiment is Craftwork Cards. The letter stickers are American Crafts "Remarks" which I am quite fond of at the minute.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><a href="http://alphabetchallengeblog.blogspot.co.uk/2013/05/h-for-happy.html">Alphabet Challenge</a> - "H for Happy" (the word Happy had to appear on your card)</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><a href="http://cardsformen.blogspot.co.uk/">Cards for Men</a> - "Dad"</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><a href="http://movingalongwiththetimes.blogspot.co.uk/">Moving along with the Times</a> - a sketch (which I have rotated)</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Well off to enjoy the few hours I have left to myself before the boys come home!</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Thanks for visiting</span><br />

Like the buses, you don't see one for ages then 2 come along at the same time lol! </span><br />
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">This card shows off another of the fab new digis over at <a href="http://www.pollycraft.co.uk/">Pollycraft</a> - Bailey who is the newest member of the Candyfloss Crew. There is a great selection of brand new digis over at Pollycraft and it's well worth checking out. There's even a 25% off your order until 15 June - I made sure I stocked up!</span><br />

<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">I would like to enter this card into this week's <a href="http://divasbydesignchallenge.blogspot.co.uk/">Divas by Design Challenge</a> who are tying themselves in knots this week with their theme "Tie a Ribbon".</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">The lovely soft pastel papers are American Craft's Dear Lizzy "Neapolitan" and this influenced my colouring of Bailey. The ribbon is also from American Crafts and the sentiment, as usual, is from Craftwork Cards. The gems and buttons were in my stash. </span><br />
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Thanks for visiting and remember to pop over to <a href="http://www.pollycraft.co.uk/">Pollycraft</a> and Paula's <a href="http://www.pollycraftdesigns.co.uk/">blog</a> for inspiration.</span><br />

Where does the time go? The evenings recently have gone by very quickly and I've never been one for staying up really late - sometimes I'm not far behind the boys! </span><br />
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Anyway, that clever <a href="http://pollycraftdesigns.blogspot.co.uk/">Paula</a> over at <a href="http://www.pollycraft.co.uk/">Pollycraft</a> has been busy with her pencil and created some new digis and they are gorgeous! This little guy here is called <a href="http://www.pollycraft.co.uk/">Quentin</a> and he is too kool for skool!!!! He is a member of Paula's Candyfloss Crew.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Have coloured Quentin in with promarkers and raised him up on some foam pads. The paper is DCWV "First Grade" and the little buttons are papermania. The Lettering are stickers from American Crafts and the twine/charm were lurking in my stash.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">I would like to enter this card into the <a href="http://cinspirations.blogspot.co.uk/">Creative Inspirations Challenge</a> of Anything Goes (with an option of buttons).</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">As an added bonus Paula is offering 25% off her digis until 15 June - so get over there now and spend some pennies!</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Thanks for visiting</span><br />

I made some cupcakes this afternoon so I thought this card was appropriate (although mine didn't look as nice as these ha ha!). These cute cupcakes are a new digi from the newly re-opened <a href="http://www.pollycraft.co.uk/">Pollycraft</a>. Paula have been busy drawing some gorgeous new images and this one is one of the digi stripz which I cut down to make this topper. I also 3d-d a couple of them. The papers I think are from a Papermania pad, but I can't be sure as the cover has gone AWOL!</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-8jLTYPZhMIo/UZktl3pAE0I/AAAAAAAABo8/8NwfdiWMU-o/s1600/001.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="293" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-8jLTYPZhMIo/UZktl3pAE0I/AAAAAAAABo8/8NwfdiWMU-o/s400/001.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">We also had cupcakes to celebrate Hamish's 9th birthday today - can't believe it will be double figures next year! In a couple of weeks time it will be Logan's 7th birthday - who planned it that way lol????</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Anyway, thanks for visiting and remember to pop over to Pollycraft to spend some pennies!</span><br />

The boys are watching football on the telly in Gaelic! It's not that they can understand what's being said but apparently it doesn't matter, as long as it's football!</span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Have made a little card to enter into a couple of challenges. The first is <a href="http://craftycatzweeklychallenge.blogspot.co.uk/">Crafty Catz Weekly Challenge</a> where Anything Goes and a fab sketch over at <a href="http://sketchsaturday.blogspot.co.uk/">Sketch Saturday</a>:</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-XQ1JTWF1m0U/UZPbfulonBI/AAAAAAAABoU/h3QMebAZXf8/s1600/002.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-XQ1JTWF1m0U/UZPbfulonBI/AAAAAAAABoU/h3QMebAZXf8/s400/002.JPG" width="390" /></a></div>
<br />
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">This little fella is Jasper and he's one of the fantastic new images at the newly opened <a href="http://www.pollycraft.co.uk/">Pollycraft</a>. Needed some bright papers for this one so have used Echo Park "A Walk in the Park" which would be a great place to fly a kite! The sentiment is Craftwork Cards and the little rainbow is all glamour dusted (it's a Quickutz diecut). Finished it off with a few buttons.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Thanks for visiting!</span><br />

<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span>Sheenahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16944260985118527318noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6952359349022777983.post-57626851790514940782013-05-11T11:45:00.001+01:002013-05-15T20:48:00.685+01:00Have a Fabulous Day ......<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Hurrah it's Saturday! It was nice not to get up at the crack of dawn for work today. The boys event managed a bit of lie in (until 7.30 ha ha).</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Have found a few challenges that I haven't played in before. The first is the<a href="http://alphabetchallengeblog.blogspot.co.uk/"> Alphabet Challenge Blog</a>'s "G for Glitter and Gems" and <a href="http://jellyparkchallenges.blogspot.co.uk/">Jellypark Challenges</a> which has a theme of "It's a Girly Challenge". Lastly <a href="http://onestopcraftchallenge.blogspot.co.uk/">One Stop Craft Challenge</a> is asking you to Add some Glitter. Now in my mind you can't have a girly card without glitter and gems so here is my card:</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-U-Owyb_ZyGA/UZPdRCA1udI/AAAAAAAABos/_SyMOJv-5Pw/s1600/001.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="361" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-U-Owyb_ZyGA/UZPdRCA1udI/AAAAAAAABos/_SyMOJv-5Pw/s400/001.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">The little cutie all dressed up is "Fairy Princess" from the newly relaunched <a href="http://www.pollycraft.co.uk/">Pollycraft</a> store. Paula's got fab new digi stamps on there at a bargain £1.49 - there is even 30% off your first order! What are you waiting for??!! Oh and Paula also has a DT call on for her new store - check out the details <a href="http://pollycraftdesigns.blogspot.co.uk/2013/05/new-images-and-dt-call.html">here</a>.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">The pink papers are from a Grace Taylor pad "Flower Patch" which I think I picked up in the sale at Hobbycraft. The fairy's wings have been glamour dusted and the flowers are have stickled! The sentiment is from Craftwork Cards and the ribbon, gems and flowers were in my stash. </span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Thanks for visiting!</span><br />

I remember when I turned 18 I was given "the key to the house" which is a very old fashioned tradition - not even sure it's something people do these days. I still have my gifts which involved toys with large plastic keys attached lol! It was this thought that inspired today's card:</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-fT2P3hLHoT4/UYqHF-_NlxI/AAAAAAAABnI/yy1smtnsyxI/s1600/001.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-fT2P3hLHoT4/UYqHF-_NlxI/AAAAAAAABnI/yy1smtnsyxI/s400/001.JPG" width="398" /></a></div>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">This cutie patootie is one of the new digi's from the uber-talented Paula over at </span><a href="http://www.pollycraft.co.uk/" style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Pollycraft </a><span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">and is "Scooter's Key". Have teamed him up with DCWV "All About Boys" stack (love the colours in this stack) and some washi tape. The numbers are thickers and I have glossy accented the key. A little card candi finishes it off. </span><br />
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">I would like to enter this card into 2 great challenges this week - <a href="http://www.cupcakecraftchallenges.blogspot.co.uk/">Cupcake Craft Challenge</a> has a great sketch and combining it with <a href="http://cardsformen.blogspot.co.uk/">Cards for Men</a> theme of "Animals". </span><br />
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Thanks for visiting!</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span>

I am lucky to have a few friends like that - where no topic of conversation is off limits.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">So this little card could be sent to such a friend. Have used this week's <a href="http://sundaysketchandstamp.blogspot.co.uk/">Sunday Sketch & Stamp</a> sketch:</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-uboPKEC2EP0/UYaEF989qrI/AAAAAAAABm4/HmMHkB4-qE4/s1600/003.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="381" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-uboPKEC2EP0/UYaEF989qrI/AAAAAAAABm4/HmMHkB4-qE4/s400/003.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">The papers are MME Stella and Rose "Mabel" which had a cheery range of oranges to work with. The sentiment is Craftwork Cards and the flowers, gems and twine were lurking on my desk. This is another of <a href="http://www.pollycraft.co.uk/">Pollycraft's</a> new digi stamps - Scooter's Puddles and he is such a cutie - he even has a little froggie friend! </span><br />
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Remember to pop over to the new Pollycraft <a href="http://www.pollycraft.co.uk/">Store</a> and <a href="http://pollycraftdesigns.blogspot.co.uk/">Blog</a>.</span><br />

<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">The week there is a fab sketch over at <a href="http://sketchsaturday.blogspot.co.uk/">Sketch Saturday</a> so I made this little New Home card:</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-9cQdeUAMN_o/UYaA7-1cVlI/AAAAAAAABmk/GpqAIkovHp8/s1600/001.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="303" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-9cQdeUAMN_o/UYaA7-1cVlI/AAAAAAAABmk/GpqAIkovHp8/s400/001.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">This was a quick card to put together and for once I didn't even use my promarkers, just coloured pencils for a softer, scribbly look! The papers are Crate Paper's "Neighbourhood" and the charm was in my collection. The lovely little image is a new <a href="http://www.pollycraft.co.uk/">Pollycraft</a> image "Houses All in a Row" a snip at £1.49. </span><br />
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span>

Don't really know what we are getting up to today but sometimes it's just nice to mooch about the house.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Another little <a href="http://www.pollycraft.co.uk/"><span style="font-size: large;">Pollycraft</span></a> make from me today, this time using the cute <a href="http://www.pollycraft.co.uk/animals/">Sending Heaps of Love with sentiment</a> available for just £1.49.</span><br />

Hope you've been enjoying your weekend so far. An uneventful day in the White house - shopping completed, the boys went to the family day at the Falkirk Football Stadium and had a nice afternoon. I caught up with some programs I had recorded and of course got a little crafting done!</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">This card I am entering into this week's <a href="http://sweetstopsketches.blogspot.co.uk/">Sweet Stop Sketch Challenge</a>:</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-IqE98ZYI5Pc/UYZ-sNdHm1I/AAAAAAAABmc/W0c_ZQ2goao/s1600/002.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="377" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-IqE98ZYI5Pc/UYZ-sNdHm1I/AAAAAAAABmc/W0c_ZQ2goao/s400/002.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Now this little guy is Scooter and he is one of the fab new images over at the newly re-opened <span style="font-size: large;"><a href="http://www.pollycraft.co.uk/">Pollycraft</a></span>. This digi is "<a href="http://www.pollycraft.co.uk/scooters-birdy-buddies/">Scooter's Birdie Buddies</a>" and is a total bargain at £1.49! Paula is currently offer 30% of your first order so it's definitely worth checking it out. The paper is MME "Nostalgia" and the sentiment is from Craftwork Cards. The little banner was die cut. </span><br />
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Thanks for visiting!</span><br />

<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">As promised another <a href="http://www.pollycraft.co.uk/"><span style="font-size: large;">Pollycraft</span> </a>make this time using an adorable elephant - and for £1.49 you get the elephant and the sentiment - what a bargain!</span><br />

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">The bright coloured paper is from Echo Park's "A Walk in the Park" and I have used washi tape for the first time. There are also a few gems on there as well.</span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>

Welcome to the holiday weekend (here in the UK). Just read on MSN that Monday is meant to be warmer than Menorca but we shall see, ha ha.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">As promised another card using one of the fab new <a href="http://www.pollycraft.co.uk/"><span style="font-size: large;">Pollycraft</span></a> images. This one introduces <a href="http://www.pollycraft.co.uk/kids/">The Party Monster</a>, a total steal at £1.49!</span><br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-QXGI8FH6TtA/UYPhx1qr8xI/AAAAAAAABlo/wc9FK_XkDY0/s1600/001.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="362" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-QXGI8FH6TtA/UYPhx1qr8xI/AAAAAAAABlo/wc9FK_XkDY0/s400/001.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">I love the fact that with monsters you can get away with colouring them in colours you wouldn't normally put together. Took my colours from the background papers - Sassafras "Monstrosity" and teamed it up with some ribbon, a thickers number and a Craftwork Card sentiment. It is for a little boy's whose birthday is next week.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Remember to check out Paula's </span><a href="http://pollycraftdesigns.blogspot.co.uk/" style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">blog</a><span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"> for more makes and of course there is a special offer on at the Store at the moment - you really have no excuses not to fill your basket now!!!!!</span><br />
<img src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-4i0FqzZWABM/UYNkGICgkOI/AAAAAAAAEec/L3qXuHb_OBc/s640/blogofferbanner.JPG" /><br />
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span><br />

<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">I was sooo excited when Paula announced <span style="color: #674ea7; font-size: large;"><a href="http://www.pollycraft.co.uk/">Pollycraft</a> </span>was coming back - I was privileged to be on the old DT and always loved playing with the fantastic images. Paula is one talented lady and so glad she's back with the most gorgeous new images. The shop has been spruced up and on sale are the gorgeous new images (but not any of the old images).</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">So without much ado I will be sharing some of the cards I made with the new images over the next few days. This is a fab image for those boy cards - <a href="http://www.pollycraft.co.uk/kids/">Little Hero</a> - a total bargain at £1.49!</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-Jo2Ds3AsjO0/UYPfU_PDhNI/AAAAAAAABlY/4D25zkBO1U0/s1600/002.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="378" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-Jo2Ds3AsjO0/UYPfU_PDhNI/AAAAAAAABlY/4D25zkBO1U0/s400/002.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">The papers are from Crate Paper "Restoration" which I haven't played with for ages. The sentiment is computer generated and there are a few card candis to finish it off. </span><br />
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Please do pop over the Pollycraft and check out (and hopefully buy!) those gorgeous new images! Paula will also be showing off some makes from her old DT over the next few days so do check out her <a href="http://pollycraftdesigns.blogspot.co.uk/">blog</a>. </span><br />
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span>

Sunday again. Why????? Hubby was away over the weekend with "the lads" and came back earlier. Up to the point he arrived the boys and I had got on well, no major arguments - dad was home 2 minutes and there was an argument! Men, why do we bother eh?!</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Anyway onto this little card - entering this into the <a href="http://seizethebirthday.blogspot.ca/">Seize the Birthday</a> sketch which is for a male this time. </span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-4RuYKuETabk/UX0sUnFiE-I/AAAAAAAABko/IURulY1Cjuc/s1600/003.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-4RuYKuETabk/UX0sUnFiE-I/AAAAAAAABko/IURulY1Cjuc/s400/003.JPG" width="323" /></a></div>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">This little fella with the birthday cake is a Pollycraft image as is the sentiment. The papers are MME's "L'il Robot" and worked really well for this sketch. The cogs are also from MME and have been topped off with some card candi. </span><br />

Entering this new baby card into the <a href="http://sundaysketchandstamp.blogspot.co.uk/">Sunday Sketch and Stamp</a> challenge. Ended up with a darker pink than I had planned but I think it worked out in the end!</span><div>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-fpIUjtawnCI/UXl9erzhLBI/AAAAAAAABkA/NuDjMC9eJ4k/s1600/001.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="381" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-fpIUjtawnCI/UXl9erzhLBI/AAAAAAAABkA/NuDjMC9eJ4k/s400/001.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<div>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">The paper is from the Fairy Belle Prima pad and of course an adorable LOTV bear coloured with promarkers. There is a panel of print (have to admit this was smaller than I had intended) and I used flowers from the Hobby House - I love the colours of them! Used seam binding and some pearls to finish it off. </span></div>
<div>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Well off to make the last packed lunches for the week.</span></div>

When is the nice weather going to appear? Why do I also talk about the weather? It really is a British obsession I think!</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Anyway, this card is for this week's great sketch over at <a href="http://sketchsaturday.blogspot.co.uk/">Sketch Saturday</a> which I haven't entered for a while.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-SO-MQtVi1AM/UXQ0EyPN2eI/AAAAAAAABjo/yMRQNUN_HX0/s1600/003.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="377" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-SO-MQtVi1AM/UXQ0EyPN2eI/AAAAAAAABjo/yMRQNUN_HX0/s400/003.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">This is Tilda's Big ice cream and it looks delicious doesn't it? The papers are Grace Taylor's "Bubblegum Girl" which if full of zingy, girly colours. The buttons and gems were lurking in the stash as always. </span><br />
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span>

If they aren't watching football their out playing football so this card was quite apt! Entering this card into 2 challenges this week - The <a href="http://sweetstopsketches.blogspot.co.uk/">Sweet Stop Sketch Challenge</a> and <a href="http://craftycatzweeklychallenge.blogspot.co.uk/">Crafty Catz Weekly Challenge</a> whose theme this week is "One for the Boys".</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-3qDl-wpC4IM/UXQykD2EhqI/AAAAAAAABjg/ymh7hi-Hry4/s1600/002.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="362" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-3qDl-wpC4IM/UXQykD2EhqI/AAAAAAAABjg/ymh7hi-Hry4/s400/002.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Used the lovely Soccer Edwin and teamed him up with Echo Park's "A Boy's Life" paper. The football pitch background was bought from a little craft shop in Scarborough when I was on holiday there last summer and the sentiment is from, yes you've guessed it, Craftwork Cards. </span><br />

It's been a mixture of sun and showers here today so there have been brief bursts of peace and quiet when the boys have gone out the play!</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">I followed this week's fab sketch over at <a href="http://seizethebirthday.blogspot.ca/">Seize the Birthday</a> which was looking for a feminine card - I hope this fits the bill!</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-6p_f2uD5vpY/UXQw3QdfShI/AAAAAAAABjY/DTEF17ACHFE/s1600/001.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-6p_f2uD5vpY/UXQw3QdfShI/AAAAAAAABjY/DTEF17ACHFE/s400/001.JPG" width="303" /></a></div>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">The image is a pre-coloured square from <a href="http://www.liliofthevalley.co.uk/">LOTV</a> which was cut into an oval with a spellbinder. The papers are from the Prima pad "Meadow Lark" which go with the coloured image well. The sentiment is from Craftwork Cards (when isn't it???) and the flowers, butterfly, pins and gems are from my stash. A nice quick card to put together. </span><br />
