Vintage

As it is holiday time and I don't have school runs to do for 8 weeks (yah) I have a little more crafting time. Been having a tidy up of my stash but to be honest it's a losing battle! So, abandoned it all and made a little vintage card:

The lovely vintage topper is from Ebay (see previous post for details!), the papers are K&Co and the sentiment and holder are Tim Holtz. The filigree corner is from Wild Orchid Crafts and the flowers are from my stash.

Thanks for dropping by!

Cards for Men Challenge #13 - Stars

Good afternoon! The sun has finally showed it's face this week, and as it's the school hols the boys and I went to a fab play farm called "Briarlands Farm". They boys are happy (and exhausted) and I got to do some reading!

I've not entered a card for Cards for Men for a while (or many others other than my DT cards) so I thought I would join in with this challenge's theme which is:

Now, I'm quite a fan of Ebay and buy quite a lot of crafty things on it. Having taken a fancy to trying out the vintage look I came across wonderful vintage toppers from Tenivo*uk. I have used a vintage car topper.

The sentiment stamp is from Crafty Emma's Store and the filigree corner from Wild Orchid Crafts. The cardstock is scrap pieces and the buttons are from my stash. The stars are actually the same colour as the cardstock but have had TH Crackle paint painted on.

Pollycraft Monday Challenge #99 - Make a Splash

Good morning - hope you've enjoyed the weekend? Unlike a lot of the UK, here in Scotland we're not really seeing a huge amount of the sun for the last few days. My sister's on holiday in France just now and it's so hot her son is running about in his knick-knacks!!

Anyhow, something we've seen a lot of here is water, which fits in very nicely with Mary's theme of:

The DT have had a great time with this one so please pop over and take a look! The luckly winner will receive 5 pack of pens from Letraset!

On to my creation - wanted to do something a little different and while trawling t'internet I found a template for a pop out card - the kind where you pull out one side and the other pops out as well. Dead easy to do as well!

The image is the Pollycraft's Swings and Slides Enchant and Explore "Mermaid" coloured with Promarkers. The papers are Fancy Pants "Beach Bum" available from Crafty Emma's Store and the sentiment is from my talented teamie Marit.

Thanks for visiting!!

Tried something a little different for my card this week - what is more summery is a pair of flip-flops so I made a giant one! Used Sonny Honeycloud "Life's a Beach" coloured with Promarkers. The flowers I had in my stash.

This week's challenge has been set by Claire and is:

Now, who doesn't like to put loads of flowers on a card if you can get away with it?? Here is my creation - a bottle tag:

From Crafty Emma's Store I used the fab paper pad from My Mind's Eye "Hazel", pearls and the happy couple (hAnglar & sTanglar I think!) are coloured with Promarkers. I have used the same papers and punched out the flowers and finished them off with a pearl brad, which have then been glamour dusted. The actual tag was a precut cardboard door hanger! The key and postcard are from my stash.

This week's lucky winner will receive a £10 gift voucher (not incl P&P) from:
