CES Challenge #62 - Roses and Ribbons

Good afternoon all - the sun is out for a change and you could almost forget it's November! The boys have 2 friends up at the minute and they are currently wiring into a tin of Roses!

We had a great time looking at your song or film inspired cards last week - I spent quite a bit of time humming all those tunes!

This week the theme has been set by Julie and it's:

I think I always manage to get these onto a card if I can! So whether it's a little ribbon bow or a whole bouquet of roses, we want to see them!

I decided on a non card creation this time and have decorated some little notebooks from Wilkinsons:

I really enjoyed working on these and plan to make some more for my school's Christmas Market in December. The papers are Prima's "Printery", "Romantique" and "Pixie Glen" which are available from Crafty Emma's Store who of course is offering this week's winner a £10 voucher (not inlc P&P) to spend:

All the other little bits and pieces were lurking in my stash!

Please remember to pop over to my teamies blogs to see their fab creations and I hope we inspire you to join us this week!

Pollycraft Monday Challenge #118 - Sketch

Morning all! Yet again Monday appears so quickly after Friday - hope you all had a great weekend. So it is time for another challenge over at Pollycraft - may I say we had so many fantastic entries for Marit's "Anything Goes" challenge - my fingers have gone numb from commenting!!!

This week we have a fabulous sketch from Cazza and its a great one! I have used the very delish Melissa Frances "5th Avenue" DPs, a Craftwork Cards sentiment and the flowers are die cut and scrunched up. The divine image is Pollycraft's Moon Fairy - I haven't used her for ages and had forgotten how gorgeous she is!!

This week's lucky winner will receive 10 digis from Pollycraft!

Now, as always I do find these challenges a tad tricky but I did manage to work a film title into mine:

Used an image from Charmed Cards and Crafts and the papers are MME "Darling Dear" from Crafty Emma's Store. The buttons are from my stash:

Pollycraft Monday Challenge #117 - Anything Goes!!

Morning all - the last day of October already! My parents had a family Halloween party yesterday and we all dressed up. Hubby was a Rock Star (in his dreams!) and I went as a Clown (no comments thank you!!)

This week's winner will receive a 5 Pack of Promarkers from Letraset - a great prize!

Anyway, this week's challenge has a decidedly spooky feel to it as set by the marvellous Mary J:

It is, of course, nearly that super spooky time of year (although not a big fan to be honest but the boys have a halloween school disco) when things go bump in the night (usually me trying to get to the loo with the lights off lol!)

Up for grabs for one lucky winner this week are 10 Pollycraft Digis:

pollycraft

Over at Pollycraft at the minute you can grab yourself a bargain - I do love my Promarkers!!:

So, onto my spooky creation! Went a bit pink for this and of course used Pollycraft's Luna Bitterfrost - Vampires Rock. The digi papers are from Pink Petticoat and the flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts. The sentiment is a rubon and the charm was lurking in my stash as was the pink rafia lace.

CES Challenge #59 - New Beginnings (2 week challenge)

Just missed the morning, so good afternoon to you all!! As always you may have noticed I'm a little tardy with my post - I do have a reason!!! With the boys being on their school October week holiday, we went down to the Lake District for 5 days - being as organised as ever, I had to rustle up a card yesterday which I couldn't photograph until today. Am I forgiven????

This week's CES challenge is going to run over 2 weeks - we are all too excited waiting for Emma to have her little one that we can't concentrate!!

So, this week's challenge is appropriately called:

Now this could cover babies as well as new home, new job - you get the idea!

The lucky winner of this challenge will receive £10 voucher (not incl P&P) for Crafty Emma's Store:

Emma currently has a ***MASSIVE CLEARANCE SALE WITH UP TO 80% OFF*** plus an extra 20% OFF EVERYTHING (excl. gift vouchers & digi images). You just need to enter this code at checkout... SALE20

There maybe a slight delay in despatch of orders due to the fact that Emma is due to give birth any day now!

Well I had a thought to make a New Home card - the idea worked in my head but not sure it worked in practice, but here we go anyway!!

The paper is Basic Grey "Out of Print" which is available from Crafty Emma's Store. I just did some tearing (which is not like me at all!), added some little flowers, buttons and pearls.

Please check out my teamies fabby cards and I hope we inspire you to join us this fortnight!

Pollycraft Monday Challenge #114 - Boys Boys Boys!

Good morning (or as good as it can be on a Monday!). Why is the weekend only 2 days long? Spend yesterday afternoon tidying the boy's playroom - this was the room that would be their responsibility to keep tidy so they could play in it - did they? Did they heck. As less of the carpet became visible I totally lost it and tidied it up. I suspect the boys knew this would eventually happen so were happy! Managed to fill a black bin bag so it was quite theraputic!!

Anyway, onto this week's challenge as set by the fantastic Faye:

I know I can hear some of you groaning - but boys cards are fun!!

This week's winner will receive a 5 pack of Promarkers from Letraset:

Here's my card:

This gorgeous fella is Casper Silvermist - My Board from Pollycraft. Perfect for teenages! The numbers are Thickers. The sentiment, card blank, buttons and twine as well as the paper "MME Everyday Flair" are from Crafty Emma's Store. The charm was lurking in my stash.

Please check out my very talented teamies and I hope we inspire you to join us this week!

So here is my card:

Pink {Ink} Sketch Challenge #7 - Erica's Sketch

I'm sure I've said before but I do love using sketches - it means you can concentrate on the papers and embellies!!

Erica at Pink {Ink} Sketch Challenge has created a fab sketch which was great to use.

I had this little LOTV fella coloured up (using ProMarkers) and looking lonely so I teamed him up with an old MM paper pad "Kids Collection Sam", used my new Marianne punch and added some card candi and a sentiment from Crafty Emma's Store.

I am finally on my 2 weeks school holidays but of course have a million things to do - I might even manage a little crafting!

Thanks for visiting!
