Vintage cars .....

Good afternoon - I know it's very rare of me to post during the week but I was looking through my card photos on the computer and realised some of them were not made for challenges, just because I wanted to! So I thought I would share a couple using some toppers from Ebay - a store called Cardmaker's Delights - which has a fab range of vintage and steampunk toppers at great prices and a super fast delivery service!


Here are my two cards:

I used odds of paper from my box and added buttons and punched shapes. The sentiment is a LOTV one. The filigree corner was from Wild Orchid Crafts and the embossing folders used were Tim Holtz.

CES Challenge #57 - Seeing Red

Good morning all - the first day of my October holiday - 2 weeks of no school!!! Anyway, this week's CES Challenge has been set by Jenny and she has chosen:

Now my 2 boys would probably see I often see red if they are misbehaving but in the crafty sense we want to see RED as your main colour - how easy is that??

Happy 60th Birthday!

I was asked to make a 60th birthday card for someone who loves Bingo. I was reaching the stage of desperation for a suitable image when I came across Bugaboo Digital Stamps (http://www.bugaboostamps.com/). There is a fantastic range of images and I will certainly be back! I did also check that the recipient had a sense of humour, lol!! Thanks for looking!

Pollycraft DT Call!

The very creative Paula at Pollycraft is looking for new DT members - it was too good an opportunity to miss! The only condition for submission was to use one of the Friday Freebie images. I chose the very cute "Duck with Cake", perfect for a spring birthday! The light here is not so great today so the picture is not quite showing the lovely spring colours.

With 2 DTs the Pollycraft Monday Challenge will become weekly, with each team taking turn week about. I would love to be considered to join the very talented DT!
