Pollycraft Monday Challenge #128 - Ribbons and Buttons

Good morning - is it really Monday already?? Boys are still off today but I'm back at work. Have you checked out the newest girl on the Pollycraft block - Celeste Amberglow - the DT are loving her!

Lynsey has chosen this week's theme:

RIBBONS AND BUTTONS

Now, I will admit when I made my card I thought the theme was Buttons and Bows - d'oh. Luckily I do have the tiniest of ribbon on this card! Also, due to an adhesive malfunction the buttons are hiding under some card candi, lol!

The papers are the delish MME "Love Me", the image is the new Celeste Amberglow Heartstrings. The card candi and sentiment are from Crafty Emma's Store. I think the pink buttons were a freebie in a craft magazine.

Introducing ..... Celeste Amberglow!

I know it's Friday but I just couldn't keep this to myself! The magnificent Paula over at Pollycraft has created:

CELESTE AMBERGLOW

and she is fantastic! My fellow teamies have had fab fun creating with this cutie (there are 6 images in total) so please check out their blogs to see their creations!

For my cards I firstly used Celeste Amberglow Cupcake Party and teamed her up with Papermania's Portobello Road collection:

I then used Celeste Amberglow Cookin' up Some Love teamed with Melissa Frances "Kitchy Kitchen" papers:

Pollycraft Monday Challenge #127 - Reds, Pinks and Creams

Yip, as you have probably noticed it is Tuesday, not Monday - this is entirely my fault, as usual! I did mean to write and schedule this on Sunday night, but I had marking to do (yuck) and got watching "Call the Midwife" and before I knew it it was my bedtime! And Monday just passed in a blur!!

So, this week's challenge has been chosen by Arabella, and is the slightly challenging:

I can say that DT did find this an interesting theme to work with! Here's my interpretation using Pollycraft's Chester in Love:

CES Challenge #72 - Lots of Layers - 3 or more!

Hope you're all having a good weekend so far! The White family has been doing our usual Saturday morning stuff - nipping into town, having a coffee then the boys try to spend their pocket money on rubbish!

Over at CES this week, Karen has picked the theme of:

LOTS OF LAYERS - 3 OR MORE!

Fab challenge to work with, especially if you don't do clean and simple like me! This is usually because I have such yummy papers from Crafty Emma's Store that I want to use them all!

The papers are the very delish First Edition "New Leaf" available from Crafty Emma's Store along with the Card Candi. I made the pins from some beads and the seam binding was in my stash. The image is from ebay and I thought it was quite quirky!

Pollycraft Monday #126 - Chill Out!

Well quite a few parts of the UK are chilling out today due to snow fall - none up here in central Scotland yet (thank goodness!). It's been quite a quiet weekend, hubby and the boys were going to go to watch footbally in Ayr on Saturday but it was called off - as a result I had their company all afternoon instead (feeble yeah!) and on Sunday we took them to softplay to run them ragged - did it work? Did it heck!

Anyway, loved looking at all your favourites last week! This week's theme has been picked by Anita and is:

CHILL OUT! 

You could interpret this as chilling out or by colours - the possibilities are endless.

So here is my offering - it is very plain, having put all my christmassy/wintery stash away in loft!
