Another great sketch from Just Magnolia this week - I do like to follow a sketch, the only thing I'm left to worry about is the papers to use! And over at the Creative Card Crew the challenge involved making an easel card to it was perfect to combine the two! The story behind this "Welcome Back" card is that it is for a school colleague who is returning to the Department after a year's maternity leave, and we're very pleased to have her back come the start of the new term in August! Not the most girly of paper choice but I was itching to use the Basic Grey "Offbeat" collection! The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts (natch!) and the frame is one of Nellie's Multi Frames. Everything else is from the stash. Thanks for looking! x

The papers are Papermania's "Scrumptious", the sentiment Craftwork Cards and the flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts. This week's sponsor is the Secret Crafter which is offering 2 fantastic stamps to the winner. Friday Sketchers #108 meets Cupcake Crafts Challenge #96
Second post of the day - not bad for me! I've combined 2 challenges with this card - this week's Friday Sketchers challenge and the "Strawberries and Cream" theme over at Cupcake Craft Challenge. The papers are the very gorgeous BG "Nook and Pantry" which had a strawberry paper so I teamed it up with Tilda and a honey pot which I have changed into a strawberry jam jar!!! The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts. The sentiment is from my new Whimsy Ticket Sentiment stamp set and everything else was lurking in my stash! Also tried to photograph this in a different way from usual, hope it works!
Thanks for looking!

Gifts for Hamish's Teachers
Here in Scotland the school summer holidays are nearly upon us so it's presents for the teacher time! I was originally going to decorate the whole of these craft bags but I kept putting it off so decided to leave them as they are and make gorgeous tags instead!
The images are hAnglar, coloured with watercolour pencils. The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts (of course) and the pins, ribbon and metal butterflies were in my stash. The actual gift is some relaxing herbal tea, a lovely mug and some cookies - hope they like it!!! Thanks for looking.

The sketch is a fab one from Friday Sketchers which I flipped on its side to fit the size of my image better. Also entering Cards for Men Challenge for the first time with the theme Father's Day.

Pollycraft Challenge #48 - "Let's have a Sing Song"
This week's Pollycraft Monday Challenge is fab and the winner gets to pick 10 Pollycraft digis of their choice - what a prize! This challenge was set by the very talented Joey and is one to get you thinking - the theme being "Let's sing a song". Really had to get the thinking cap on for this one!! Decided to use Rockstar Ethan - "I wanna be a rockstar" is of course, a line from a Nickleback song! The papers are a download from DCWV called "Generation Tech" and I think they work really well here. Everything else from my stash! Hope you like! I look forward to seeing your creations!!

Sketch Saturday #106
I enjoyed working with Paula's sketch this week and I have to admit I kept it pretty simple (its all my brain can handle at the minute!!). The image is Pollycraft's "Brave Knight Cuthbert" - isn't he such a hero? The strip of DP is ATD's "Family Ties" and I thought it looked a bit oldie worldie. There is also some green glittery ribbon down the middle and the sentiment is part of an Elyzbells sentiment collection. Thanks for looking!
Friday Sketchers #105 and Cupcake Craft Challenge #94
I have managed to combine 2 challenges this week - the fab sketch from Friday Sketchers and the theme for Cupcake Craft Challenges "Dazzle Us". This was yet another great sketch to work with and I chose Pollycraft's "Cuthbert Heart" - isn't he a cutie? The papers are from Prima "Makes Me Happy Collection". The sentiments and gems are from Papermania. The Cupcake Craft Challenge was looking for some dazzle so I glamour dusted Cuthbert's heart, added some gems to the red DP flowers. Thanks for looking!

The image is Magnolia Tilda with Sunflower, and everything else (apart from the flowers and the sentiment) are Papermania's Hampstead collection. The flowers are Wild Orchid Crafts. Thanks for looking!
Friday Sketchers #104 and Cupcake Craft Challenge #93
I think this is the first time I've entered 2 challenges with the same card! The first challenge is "Friday Sketchers #104" - it was a fab sketch to work with and I tied it in with the "Cupcake Craft Challenge 93 (Summer Delights)" which I haven't entered before. The image is from Pollycraft soon to be released "Cuthbert and Kiki" range - Kiki Ice Cream. The papers are Pink Petticoat "Sweet Sundaes". The sentiment is Craftwork Cards and the flowers are Wild Orchid Crafts. Everything else is from my stash! Thanks for looking!
