Pink {Ink} Sketch Challenge #3 - a Sketch
Good afternoon! Well it's a not so sunny Wednesday here today so the boys and I headed for our local softplay area - £30 later, we left and went to McDonalds for a treat - that was another £12! And are the boys happy and contented with what we did, well not really.
Anyway, came across this fab new Challenge Blog - Pink {Ink} Sketch Challenges and couldn't resist having a go:
This cute little driver is of course a LOTV image Little Lorry Bear which I have coloured with Promarkers. The papers were free from "Simply Homemade" and were actually good quality and I thought they were nice and bright! The sentiment and card blank are from Craftwork Cards and the buttons are from my overflowing button tin! Although it's not obvious from the photo, I have used Glossy Accents on the balloon!
Thanks for visiting!

This cute little lady is from Pollycraft's Swings and Slides Deck the Halls collection - isn't she adorable? The papers are from Crafty Emma's Store and are Fizzy Moon Festive Fun. I distressed the papers by doing a little tearing and using my distressing tool around the sides. She is coloured with Promarkers.

Set myself a little challenge .......
I recently had a tidy up of my craft stash as my fab Dad built me some cubby holes in my craft room (it was getting to the stage that I had stuff all over the floor). It meant I came across paper pads that hadn't seen the light of day for a while. So I decided 2 things:
1 I really don't need to buy anymore stash (may have to be physically restrained to do this lol) - hubby might have to phone my craft haunts and ask that they ban me!
2 To use all the fab stash that I already have.
So I took one pad (Making Memories Kids Collection - Sam), kraft card and inked up some LOTV images and came up with these. The sentiments are from Craftwork Cards.
So who would like to bet that I break my first point before the weekend???
Sheena xx

The background paper is from Logan's Dr Who Magazine (don't tell him lol), the twine and tag are from a pair of Hamish's trousers, the corrugated cardboard came from packaging around a mug and I found the bottle top in a drawer - I think I did quite well there! The image is of course Swings and Slides My Ride from Pollycraft.

Pollycraft Monday Challenge #104 - A Sketch
Happy Monday! This week's Pollycraft challenge has been set by Paula and is a fabby sketch:
The lucky winner of this week's challenge will get to pick 10 digis from Pollycraft - I have to warn you though, there are too many to chose from!!
As I was on holiday and missed the Christmas in July challenge I used one of the new Christmas Chester images. The background is a digi postcard from Craftsuprint and the flowers are from Wilkinsons - just took a bunch of flowers apart - with brads as centres. The sentiment is Craftwork Cards and I used a peel off which I haven't done for ages!
Please check out the fantastic work from the DT and I hope you're inspired to join us this week!
