Pollycraft Monday Challenge #32 - Fire and Ice

This fortnight's Pollycraft Challenge was a colour combo - red and white. When browsing through my digi images I knew Pierre Superhero was perfect for this challenge! The reason the sentiment is in French is because my sister asked me to make some cards to sell at her Lingobaby classes where she teaches French to little ones. Thanks for looking!

Papertake Weekly Challenge Sketch #32

Another really great sketch to work with for this challenge. Unlike a lot of crafters, I don't mind making male cards so I decided that this would be a card suitable for a cool dude! I had inked this stamp up a while ago and hadn't coloured him so this was the perfect opportunity. Thanks for looking!

Sketch Saturday #85

I realised that I did not have any engagement cards in my collection so used this opportunity to make one using this week's sketch. It was a bit of a challenge to not make it too girly. Thanks for looking.

Allsorts Challenge Week 34 - A Sketchy Challenge

Here is my entry for the latest Allsorts Challenge with a sketch. If you used a Digistamp Boutique image you were in with twice the chance to win! Realising that Valentine's Day is not so far away I decided to go all lovey dovey with my card and "Coco and Little Hearts" was the perfect image to use! Thanks for looking!

Pollycraft Monday Challenge #31 - Winter Birthdays

This week's challenge was to create a card for a winter birthday - I had of course just put all my christmas craft stuff away (it goes the same time as the tree and decorations!) so I had a look at the CDs that I have and came up trumps with this one. I like the colours blue and brown together and I thought it looked pretty wintery (although at the moment white would be better!). I paper pieced her umbrella and raincoat for a change and there is just a smattering of glamour dust around the frame. Thanks for looking

Papertake Weekly Challenge - New Beginnings

The one thing I like nearly as much (OK as much) as making cards is shopping for stash! As a result I have lots of things planked awaiting use but sometimes don't see the light of day (or its to nice to cut/use!). I had a rummage and came across this little guy (sorry I can't remember where I got him, its been a long time!) and decided my "New Beginning" would be a baby card. Kept it pretty simple and only used a little glamour dust! Thanks for looking.

Sketch Saturday #84

Yet another challenge - I'm doing well. This is the first time I've entered the Sketch Saturday challenge - I do seem drawn to the challenges with sketches! This was a great sketch and I am sure it will be used again! I actually completed the card after I had completed the calendar which is for my sister (who is a languages teacher, hence the months in French lol!!). I used the sketch for both items. I then discovered I didn't have a suitable gift bag so decorated one of my own using the same image but not the sketch (main reason was I had run out of the paper and had to improvise!). Anyway enough of the waffling - thanks for looking!

Allsorts Challenge Week 33 - New or Old (plus a sketch)

I'm on a roll with my resolution to enter more challenges (but will it last??). This is the first time I've entered the Allsorts challenge and I enjoyed this one. I went for new stash with the sketch - I bought the Digital Pencil image in December but hadn't used it yet and the papers were a christmas present. I kept this the background quite simple as I wanted the beautiful image to really stand out. As usual it is Glamour Dusted to within an inch of its life!! Thanks for looking!
