Pollycraft Monday Challenge #74 - White Christmas (running for 4 weeks and GDcall)
I used to think that a white Christmas would be nice, but after the snow we've had I've changed my mind!! Jane has picked this week's Pollycraft Challenge and it is "White Christmas" - this can either be an all white card with only the image coloured or a wintry scene. My penguin was a Pollycraft Friday Freebie ages ago but he was perfect for this card. Took me ages to thread the buttons!! You can also apply for a GDT spot with this challenge - just add GD after your name in the linky! The sponsor is Crafty Emma's Store with a Memory Box Tinsel paper pack.
Look forward to seeing your cards!

New Cherry and Jerry Kisses Releases at Pollycraft (and a Cards for Men Challenge!)
Good morning! It's the 1st of December, woohoo! Paula over at Pollycraft has been a very busy girl and has been drawing like mad to give us some new Cherry Kisses and for the first time Jerry Kisses Christmas images!! I just love the Cherry Kisses girls (and boys) as they are so easy to colour and use.
Here's my little card featuring "Jerry Kisses - Piles of Pressies" which I am also entering in this week's Cards for Men Challenge 24: Christmas Cards.
I've used Pink Petticoat's "Fairy Lights" CD for my papers, it's one of my favourites. Jerry is coloured with Promarkers. Everything else is from my small craft collection, lol!
Visit the Pollycraft blog to see the other fabby DTs creations. Thanks for visiting!

Critter Sketch Challenge #40 were looking for Texture
The Sweet Stop Sketch Challenge #82 was a fab sketch and
Cupcake Craft Challenge #117 wanted a "House Warming" card
This is what I came up with:
The image is from Pollycraft, the papers (GCD Rose), pin and leaf is from CES, the flowers are from Wild Orchid Craft and the textured panel has been created using a Cuttlebug Embossing folder. I think after all these posts I need to lie down ....................

Sketch Saturday #129
Been having some fun with some sketch challenges, and this one is for Sketch Saturday. I have rotated the sketch round as I printed my digi image a little big, lol:
I love this image - let's be honest, you always get something handknitted from an elderly relative! This is Pollycraft's "Ethan's New Jumper" combined with the papers from Pink Petticoat's Fairy Lights. Everything else was from my crafty stash. Thanks for visiting!

Friday Sketchers #128
Good afternoon! No your eyes are not deceiving you, I am entering a challenge! I've been really busy on the home front for a variety of reasons but I'm able to get crafting again!
As always I enjoyed working with the Friday Sketchers Sketch and this is what I came up with:
This little chap is Pollycraft's "Jack Snow Fun" and is one of many fantastic images available in the shop. The link in my sidebar will take you to the new look shop! The papers are Pink Petticoat's "Fairy Lights" and the sentiment is from Craftwork Cards. Can't remember where I got the pearl snowflakes from - I could say I painstakingly placed all the pearls individually ....................

Pollycraft Monday Challenge #68 "It's Chill Time"
Happy Monday! Hope your week has started well. This week's challenge over at Pollycraft has been set by Emma and the theme is "It's Chill Time". Now you can interpret this in any way - it could be a wintry card or feature relaxtion - my card covers the latter:
I've used the fabulous "Ronnie" specially drawn by Paula to raise funds for the Yorkshire Air Ambulance Service which is an organisation close to Emma's heart. He's perfect for all those male cards so if you haven't got him yet pop over to the Pollycraft shop and give him a home! The paper is Papermania's "For Him". Please check out all the other cards from my very talented DT Buddies. Thanks for visiting!

CES Challenge #10 - Chocolate Caramel
Good Morning (assuming Blogger has worked!). It's time again for another fab CES Challenge and this time the theme is "Chocolate Caramel" - now I have to admit this did stick me a bit as these are not colours I normally use! Decided to go for a more literal interpretation:
While scrambling around my stash for inspiration, I found this Craftwork Cards sentiment and decided to base my card around it! The papers, Basic Grey Pyrus, are available in Emma's store along with tonnes of other fab stuff so take a peek! The "Caramels" are just squares of paper that I have wrapped in some little squares of card bags. The pants sadly are not a realistic representation of mine size wise, lol!!! Thanks for visiting and remember to visit all the other DTs to see there great creations!

Everything else was lurking in my stash! Can't wait to see your creations this week! Thanks for visiting.

CES Challenge 4 - Baby Bonanza
Good Morning! Always glad when Saturday comes around and of course it means another challenge over at CES Challenge! This week's fab challenge is "Baby Bonanza" - always a great theme for a card. My DT card is for a baby girl (the pink rather gives it away, lol). The gorgeous little dragon is Wild Rose Studio's "Fergus with Bouquet" (or indeed Fergie for this card??) with fab mulberry ribbon and pink dew drops all available from
so you have no excuse not to go over there and have a little nosey (some new Basic Grey papers have been added!). The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and anything else not mentioned has been in my stash. I look forward to admiring all your fabulous work! Thanks for visiting!

Sketch Saturday #119 meets Cupcake Craft Challenge #107
Good evening - it's nearly the weekend!! This little offering is for 2 challenges - Sketch Saturday and Cupcake Craft Challenges with the theme of Books and Stories. This card is probably a bit brighter than normal but I had lovely papers which I don't use very often - Sassafras "Hog Heaven" and the most gorgeous fabric roses and buttons from Making Memories. The image is from Squiggle Stamps and is called Daisy - I made her into Little Red Riding Hood which was one of my favourite books when I was young (I'm from an age when the Ladybird books cost 10p lol!). Used some paperclips at the top and some dew drops to finish it off. Thanks for visiting!

The Tilda image is the cutest with the very gorgeous Prima "Fairy Flora" papers available from Crafty Emma's Store. The flowers are, of course, from Wild Orchid Crafts and the pin is my own creation! The pearls are from Kaiser and were the perfect colour. Thanks for visiting!

Morning! I'm not usually on the computer so early but I had to print off some stuff for Playgroup and thought that I would add this card at the same time! This week's challenge at Just Magnolia is a sketch by Dawny P which was great to work with. H has several birthday parties to go to in the next few weeks and this is one of the cards. The image is Pirate Tilda and the papers are Rusty Pickle's "Pirate Princess". I have to admit it was a bit fiddly getting the beads onto the bakers twine!! The sentiment is Craftwork Cards and everything else from the stash. Thanks for visiting!
