CES Challenge #38 - Embossing

Well I know it's late but at least it's still Saturday lol!! This week Jane has set the fab challenge of:

EMBOSSING

either dry embossing or using ink and powder. Have to admit I've never been very good at ink and powder embossing so I used my trusty embossing folders!

The winner of this challenge will receive a £10 voucher (not incl P&P) from Crafty Emma's Store:

Made an envelope card using First Edition "Up, Up and Away" DPs, the image is a Pollycraft cutie coloured with Promarkers. I embossed the insert. The DPs, Promarkers, buttons and Bakers Twine are all available from Crafty Emma's Store.

Please pop over to the other DTs and GDTs cards which are fabulous. Thanks for visiting!!

Just Magnolia Week 107 - A Sketch

Good afternoon! We've been battered by 90 mph winds yesterday but pleased to report that we don't have any damage (phew).

It's been a while since I managed a card for Just Magnolia and hAnglar & sTanglar Challenge. I have used "Hello Little Butterfly Tilda" and combined her with some free Serif papers from a craft magazine.

The ribbon, button and pearls were in my stash and the little charm (which I have realised is half hidden!) is from Crafty Emma's Store. The sentiment is from Craftwork Cards. The flowers are Wild Orchid Crafts.

Pollycraft Monday Challenge #94 - Embellishment Bingo

Good Monday morning! Hope you've all had a nice weekend? It was eldest son's birthday during the week so we had a family day out yesterday called Briarland's Farm. Its a working farm but they have put in jumping pillows, hay bales, zip line, etc to play on and we had a great day.

This week it's my turn to set the Pollycraft Challenge and I have decided on:

EMBELLISHMENT BINGO

If you've not done this before it's very easy!

From the table below you have to choose a line of embellishments.
Your line can be horizontal (eg Lace, Charm and Pearls); vertical (eg Charm, Buttons and Sparkle); or diagonal (eg Lace, Buttons and Flowers)

This week's lucky winner will receive a 5 pack of Letraset Promarkers.

For my card I have used Pollycraft's Fairy from Swings and Slides "Exchant and Explore" coloured with Promarkers. The paper was a freebie from a craft magazine. Everything else was lurking in my stash. My bingo line is Lace, Charm and Pearls:

Please pop over to the other DTs blogs to see what bingo line they have used. I look forward to visiting your creations. Thanks for visiting!

Pollycraft Monday Challenge #91 - Anything Goes!

Good afternoon - hope you're basking in sunshine! This week's Pollycraft Monday Challenge has been set by the marvellous Marit and it's:

It's always a goodie this one as you can create anything that takes you fancy.

This week's sponsor is a £10 voucher from Bunny Zoe Crafts:

For my "anything goes" I decided to create a little address book for myself:

Used Pollycraft's Chester for the cover and watermarked him for the pages of my address book. The purple paper is Pink Petticoat "Apples" and tiny sticky letter for each page of my book. Used ribbon to bind it (the book rings I had were too big and looked silly) and I added a couple of charms and buttons.
